About Garfield County Criminal History

Garfield County records are split among the county sheriff, two trial courts, the Washington State Patrol, the state corrections system, and Washington's public registry. Because Pomeroy has no separate police department or municipal court and the county operates no jail, the correct source may sit outside the system a reader first expects. We organize the official portals, request routes, addresses, and phone numbers so readers can identify the office that owns each record.

Why We Built This Site

Washington provides several forms of public access, but it does not place every criminal record in one database. The Garfield County Sheriff's Office holds its incident and arrest reports. Superior Court keeps felony files, while District Court keeps misdemeanor and gross-misdemeanor files. The Washington State Patrol Criminal Records Division operates WATCH for statewide conviction-history checks. Washington DOC covers state custody, and the Washington State Sex Offender Information Center provides community-notification searches. We bring those distinct routes together without treating any one result as a complete record.

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site, with no tie to a Washington court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Those limits matter:

  • We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
  • We cannot file vacation motions, sealing requests, public-records requests, or other paperwork for you
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any criminal record, court document, or rap sheet
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific charge or case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or address listed on this site is current right now

An official copy must come from the Garfield court, the sheriff, the receiving jail, or the Washington State Patrol. This resource only helps identify that source.

Search Partners

Third-party providers power search boxes shown on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, prices, and privacy terms. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports the site. We do not choose the records returned or set the provider's charges.
